Munich Area, Germany
Michael Marino is an experimental physicist working at the Technische Universität München (Germany) interested in searching for new physics that could help solve some of the open questions about our universe. He is currently working on two experiments: (1) EXO-200, looking for a rare decay with a half-life longer than 10^25 years that could help us understand the origin of mass in the universe; and (2) nEDM, looking for a property in the neutron called the ‘electric dipole moment’ that could help us explain why matter and anti-matter are not exactly symmetric.
